RECENT EXHIBITIONS
Wall House #2: Thought Provoking, Sense Provoking, Summer 2007, Groningen, Netherlands. This traveling exhibition includes twelve images I made in the Netherlands as a commission for the Noorderlicht Fotofestival. I was one of eight international photographers invited to live in John Hejduk's Wall House #2 in Groningen and create a project related to his strange and spectacular architecture. My specific assignment was to populate the house, which currently functions as a museum, with fictional characters and their stories.
Reality Crossings, Fall 2007, Germany, Mannheim_Ludwigshafen_Heidelberg Photofestival. As Artist-in-Residence, I spent April 2007 photographing German families in their homes as a commission for the festival.

Wall House #2: Thought Provoking, Sense Provoking Nine of my images along with those of seven other international photographers are published in this beautiful and original book by Noorderlicht which also contains essays about the architecture and history of Wall House #2. Purchase book.
Vision magazine, China. China's major fashion/culture magazine, similar to Vogue or Marie-Claire. They included an essay about my work, an interview, and seven photographs.

Scala magazine, Germany (cover image, article, two photographs).
FESTIVALREGION RHEIN-NECKAR, Germany. The magazine sent a reporter with me on one of my photo shoots. She also interviewed the family I photographed. (Article and two images.)
European Photography, Germany (image and essay). The fall issue of European Photography functioned as the catalogue for Reality Crossings, Photofestival Mannheim_Ludwigshafen_Heidelberg.

Light and Lens, by Robert Hirsch, US. This new digital photography textbook uses one of my images as an example of analogue photography.
